In order to provide you with the best possible protection during your stay at the airport, the airport has taken a number of measures in consultation with its partners and the responsible authorities.
Protective screens on counters
Information counters, check-in counters and gates were equipped with plexiglass screens to ensure safe contact between the airport staff and the passengers.
Floor decals were attached in the check-in areas and the security check. This will make it easier for you to maintain the minimum distance of 1.5m.
Hand sanitiser stations
All sanitary rooms of the airport, as well as other places within the terminal, have been equiped with hand disinfection dispensers, which are regularly replenished.
Blocking of selected seats
The seating areas in the waiting areas at check-in, in front of security and boarding pass controls, gates and baggage claim areas have been equipped with clearly visible stickers to ensure that there is sufficient distance from other travellers.
Expanded cleaning measures
In order to prevent surface contamination, the cleaning and disinfection intervals have been increased.
Announcements within the terminal
Trilingual announcements are made regularly in the gates to remind people of the hygiene rules and requirements. Monitors and signs are also found within the entire terminal building.
In dialogue with the airlines and service partners, the airport is continously working to make the process safe for passengers, for example by delaying the boarding and deboarding or reducing the occupancy of the passenger buses.
